All submissions must be the original work of the author. The Log editors reserve the right to edit for whatever reason or to refuse submissions outright.

Opinions expressed in The Log are expressly those of the author and/or artist and do not reflect the views of The Log editors.


Code of Commenting

The Log editors encourage the exchange of ideas and opinions, but we ask that commenter’s follow our guidelines and respect common standards of courtesy. We do not allow any personal attacks, offensive language and unsubstantiated allegations, and all comments will be vetted for these offenses.

We ask that comments are kept:

-         Civil
-         Smart
-         On-topic
-         Free of profanity
-         Respectful

Similar to submissions, editors at The Log reserve the right to  edit for whatever reason or to refuse comments outright.


Guidelines to avoid Libel

Avoid anything:

-         that exposes an individual to hatred, shame, disgrace, contempt or ridicule
-         that injures an individual’s reputation, or causes them to be shunned and/or avoided.
-         That injures an individual’s occupation.
-         That accuses an individual of
  •   A crime
  • A contagious disease
  • Adultery

-         That makes negative remarks about an individual’s trade or business
