- No success for urban agriculture, since our obsolete bylaw 60 still forbids “agriculture”.
- Nor for the beleaguered owners of Compassion Farm. The farm is still under threat from a hostile District Council.
- Not for the neighbour, since he has made it clear that nothing less than closing down Compassion Farm will satisfy him and wants the bylaws enforced.
- Not for Lantzville taxpayers, who have seen our community ripped apart and footed a bill of $80,000 to achieve written concessions that a less dysfunctional Council with effective communications could have achieved at the outset.
We are right back where we started but poorer, and way behind other municipalities. The mountain laboured and brought forth a mouse.
